Thank you to all that stopped in to support Lakeridge Island Books Day last month. We are so fortunate to have a local book shop that generously supports our school, and a community that supports both! Many families stopped by and shopped, as well as donated snacks and beverages for patrons to enjoy as they browsed. Because of your support and Island Books' generous donation of 15% of the day's proceeds, we raised $1,675 for Lakeridge! Congratulations to Ms. McLyman’s class with over 40% of students stopping in to shop. Their class will receive a $50 gift card to Island Books. Thanks to all for a fun and successful event!
Way to go Co-Chairs, Hilarie Galloway and Maura Velamoor for leading this successful fundraising event! |
