Culture Night Postponed: Due to inclement weather (and possibly more on the way), Lakeridge Culture Night will not take place on February 6th.

Lakeridge families: Get ready for Culture Night February 6!

We are excited to start the New Year by bringing together all of our Lakeridge families to share and celebrate our many cultures! This includes any global cultures, as well as regional and endemic cultures of the United States. We absorb a sense of our culture throughout our lives as we observe and experience the things that make our families unique: be it our food, the languages we communicate in, the music we listen to, the stories we share, how we decorate our home, the games we play, and so much more. 

We are especially excited about the 4th Grade Bollywood Dance performance. Our wonderful PE teacher, Tani Lindquist, has incorporated Bollywood dance as a lesson for our 4th grade classes. Thanks to many of your PTA grant contributions, this curriculum will be showcased at Culture Night! 

Here are the ways you can get involved at Culture Night:

• Signup to host a game, lead a craft, or set up a simple display that represents your family's culture. 
• Signup to bring a food important to your family to contribute to the food section at Culture Night. 
• Signup for a cultural performance on our mainstage! (Full) Please reach out to Sunny at sunny.sun0705@gmail.com if your kid(s) still want to join and perform.
• Come out on February 6 and join us in celebrating Lakeridge's family cultures.
