Our Lakeridge Elementary School PTA is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization dedicated to child advocacy. Our PTA board and committees are made up of hard-working parents who pool their time and talents to provide support for our school. Whether you join the PTA or not, your child will have experiences funded and coordinated by the PTA.  You can be active in volunteering for PTA activities and never attend a meeting.  The PTA is one of the strengths of our community, funding and coordinating everything from Science Fair, the Yearbook, the Garden, the Culture Night, and much more.  We’re also part of the Mercer Island, Washington State, and National PTA structure that advocates for all children.  Every child.  One Voice.  Involvement can range from volunteering for one activity at your student’s school during the year to getting to know your school board and legislators. The structure is listed below.

• Local PTAs:  Mercer Island Preschool Association, Lakeridge PTA, West Mercer PTSA, Northwood PTA, Island Park PTA, Islander Middle School PTA, and Mercer Island High School
• Mercer Island PTA Council:  A PTA body that coordinates across the local PTAs
• Washington State PTA
• National PTA

There is no better way to be informed about what’s happening in education on Mercer Island than to be connected to the PTA.  Your involvement during elementary years will help you be informed and plan ahead for middle and high school too. If you have any questions about Lakeridge, the PTA, activities, events or programs, please do not hesitate to contact one of the PTA volunteers below.
